Trey came to Wayward Cats in June of 2024 along with two other cats named Onyx and Tiger after their person passes away. They had been living on their own for over a year and the only human contact was with a volunteer who stopped by to feed them and change their litter boxes. Trey appears to be much older than his two brothers. He is very shy and will give a warning hiss when people encroach on his space. He tends to hang out with Onyx and Tiger but will sometimes migrate to other parts of the sanctuary. He gets along well with the other sanctuary residents but is very shy around people and really doesn’t like being touched.
