Matilda is a new addition to our Wayward Cat family. We received a call from our vet saying they had a healthy 7-year-old cat that the owner wanted to euthanize because they were moving out of state. Unfortunately, this is not all that unusual of an occurrence in our society. She was not comfortable around other cats, so I decided to make her my office cat. Her favorite place to lay down is on my desk in front of my monitor. If I’m sitting back watching a video she will cuddle up on my stomach and snuggle. I can’t imagine why anyone would want to euthanize such a loving and wonderful cat.
